Skin Retexturing & Ink-Less Restoration
Pigment-free techniques that stimulate collagen to relax burn tissue, soften stretch marks, and remodel raised or tight scars — using nothing but your skin's own healing response.

How it works
The process
Ink-less restoration is a non-thermal needling method used to retexture elevated scar formations and burn tissue by stimulating collagen in specified areas. Voids in depressed scars and stretch marks fill with connective tissue, strengthening the defect and minimizing its depth, while elevated scars and burn tissue flatten as fibrous bonds relax. The same method can release melanin trapped in fibrous scar formations. Restraint is the whole method here — the smallest effective input, given time to work. Ink… less is more.
Sessions are often paired with light therapy and tyrosinase inhibitors or anti-inflammatory botanicals for an amplified treatment response. Timing matters more here than anywhere else we work: over-treatment of needling has the reverse effect, so closer sessions, DIY methods, and layering with similar treatments impede results rather than boost them. Expect two to eight sessions, eight to sixteen weeks apart depending on the individual, the anatomical area, skin type, and goals.
Planning ahead
What to expect
Sessions
2 to 8 sessions
Depending on the individual, the anatomical area, skin type, and goals.
Spacing
8 to 16 weeks apart
Collagen remodeling continues for months after each session. Spacing lets the skin show its full response.
Non-negotiable
Strict timeframes between sessions
Over-treatment has the reverse effect. Closer sessions, DIY methods, and layered similar treatments impede results.
Your part
Pre- and post-care
The care plan must be followed for the tissue response to build the way it should.

What we treat
Areas and conditions
Burn scars
Burn tissue often heals tight, shiny, and raised. Retexturing works the surface to relax the tissue, improve pliability, and bring it closer to the level and feel of the surrounding skin.
Stretch marks
Mature stretch marks on the abdomen, hips, thighs, chest, and arms respond well to collagen stimulation, which smooths the indentation and reduces the depth of the striae.
Scar & burn relaxation
Restrictive scar tissue from surgery, injury, or burns can be relaxed to improve flexibility and comfort as well as appearance — often the first stage before any camouflage color.
Surgical & trauma scars
Raised or ridged surgical scars are remodeled so the edges blend rather than catch the light, which also makes any later color work far more convincing.
Combining with camouflage
Texture and color are two separate problems. We treat texture first, review how the skin settled, and only introduce color if the area still needs it.
The Consultation
A quiet conversation before anything begins
Your consultation is time set aside to review your goals, skin condition and healing history, treatment and medical history, any previous tattoo or permanent makeup work, realistic expectations, timing, and which of our artists is the right match for you.
Consultation fees are applied toward your completed procedure or treatment session.
